During the heyday of early 80's "Hair Metal", there was a core group of bands that would rise together from the streets of Hollywood; Mötley Crüe, Ratt, and Great White, you are already familiar with. But there was another popular member of that group...

That band was WHITE SISTER

Internal problems and fate would eventually tear the band apart shortly after they were signed by EMI America in 1984. Despite it all, White Sister managed to attain a legendary cult status that has not faded to this day. They placed a number of songs in major motion pictures and even appeared in one. But soon thereafter, music would change... Grunge was king!

In October 2008, the group reunited to play a live show in the UK. That night, the promoter shot a live concert DVD which sold out quickly upon release. The band returned, once more, to the UK in 2009 to play what was, in all likelihood, their final live show together.

With the passing of Richard Wright (2006) and Rick Chadock (2012), the remaining original band members are uncertain if they can continue on as White Sister without their brothers.

"It's with a heavy heart and gut wrenching sadness that I have to inform you that Rick Chadock has passed away early this morning. He lost a long battle with cancer last night…we're all devastated. Rick and his amazing wife Chanel requested that his illness be kept private, not many people knew he was sick. The last two years have been like a bad dream, the last several months a nightmare…as I type this I still can't believe it."

"I miss him so much, it hurts…Hug everyone you care about, tell them how much they mean to you…while you can. ....Peace, Dennis."

The band appeared at the Firefest V festival in Nottingham, England on Sunday October 26, 2008.
It was the first time they had taken the stage together in over 20 years but they hit the ground running,
and with the support of an adoring crowd, they rocked the house down!
The show was video taped for a 2009 Live DVD release.

2006

"We rocked to the beat of his drums!"

Our beloved drummer, friend and brother, Richard Wright passed away on June 14, 2006. Memorial services were held Friday, June 23, 2006 at St. Charles Church in North Hollywood California. We cannot begin to express what a wonderful person he was and the pain we are all experiencing during this difficult time. Richard was only 44 years old............................................................................
